Valley View University, through its Directorate of Career Services, in collaboration with the National Academy of Students’ Achievement Awards Ghana (NASAAG) organised a Career and Capacity Development Summit at the Seth Laryea Multipurpose Centre at Valley View University on Friday, March 10, 2023.
The J.J. Nortey Hall has the quest to provide platforms for its Hallers and members of the VVU community in general to harness their potentials and to acquaint themselves with current trends in leadership, management, entrepreneurship and other important areas of life. It, therefore, on March 23, 2023 organized a well attended Seminar by a cross section of the university. It was dubbed, MOVE meaning Men Of Vision Empowerment which was the maiden edition.

The Valley View University commits itself to holistic education. As a Seventh-day Adventist Institution of Higher Learning with the brand tug, "Preferred Christian University", its quest for spiritual life development cannot be overemphasized. To this end, the university over the years has tried to build a chapel as its permanent place of worship.
An induction ceremony was on March 9 held for five faculty members in persons of Professors Dominic Damoah, Winfred Larkotey, Martin Akotey, Ninon Ametil, and John Appiah who had been appointed on promotion to the rank of Associate Professor by Valley View University (VVU) Council. The event, being the first of its kind, took place at the Boluwatife Conference Hall at 2:30 p.m.
