Mr. Isaac Adjin Bonney

Mr. Isaac Adjin Bonney is the founder of the Yennob Ventures, a consulting firm. He is a Chartered Accountant, a Chief Internal Auditor with the Ministry of Inner-Cities and Zongo Development and the Head of the Internal Audit Directorate.

Previously, he worked with the Ministry of Health for 8 years and rose from a Senior Internal Auditor to Chief Internal Auditor. He was also the Head of the Internal Audit Unit at the National Cardiothoracic Centre, Korle Bu from 2014 to 2019.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Accounting Option) from Valley View University. He graduated from Valley View University in 2004, with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and proceeded further to pursue a master's degree in Finance and Accounting at the British Institute of Management and Technology, Cöte d'Ivoire. He has over sixteen (16) years of professional experience in accounting, internal controls, auditing, and taxation. He is a member of various professional bodies like: Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana

(ICAG), Institute of Internal Auditors Ghana and Global (IIA), Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), International Institute of Certified Forensic Investigation Professional (IICFIP), Institute of Public Accountants-Australia (l PA), Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), and was recently inducted via zoom into the Institute of Directors-Ghana (loD-Ghana). Isaac is a member of the Audit Committees of Accra Metropolitan Assembly, the Tema General Hospital, and the National Board for Professional and Technical Examinations. Recently, Isaac was appointed a member of the Finance and Audit Committee of International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (IDEA), which is responsible for advancing democracy worldwide, as a universal human aspiration and an enabler of sustainable development through supporting the building, strengthening and safeguarding of democratic political institutions and processes at all levels.

The IDEA organization is governed by its Council of Member States. It is governed by its Statutes, the latest of which entered into force in November 2008. Membership in International (IDEA) is open to governments which demonstrate, by example in their own state, their commitment to the rule of law, human rights, the basic principles of democratic pluralism, and strengthening democracy. Isaac happens to be the first Ghanaian to have earned such appointment.

Mr. Bonney is a motivational speaker, National Treasurer of Accra Academy Old Boys Association, and the National Treasurer of the Valley View University Alumni Association. He is also the General Secretary of Ga North District Society of ICAG. He lectures and makes presentations on various subjects on social media platforms as well. He is married to a beautiful damsel, Mrs. Jeanne Naadu Bonney, an Alumna. They have been blessed with a daughter Naa Shedaa Bonney. His favorite quote is: "To be, rather than to seem" by Cicero, and his hobbies are mentoring and coaching Ike's Testimony about VVU "For me, WU was the training grounds for my leadership qualities. It taught me to go the extra mile in the service of God and humanity. The exposure to foreign French speaking students and International Student's Association especially, helped me to learn the French language I use for my International works. I will say the holistic education gained from academics, communality, and spirituality have powered me to the heights I have attained today ..—in the spirit of our Pioneers."
