Michael Agyemang Adarkwah a 27 year old alumnus of Valley View University has graduated with a doctoral degree in Education Leadership and Management from Southwest University in China.
Valley View University, the Premier Chartered Private University in Ghana has once again made history by winning the maiden edition of the Africa Smart-B Schools Quiz (ASBSQ-2022) Competition in Ghana.
The graduation was themed confronting a global pandemic: A call to excellence, integrity and service.
It was the 27th graduation of Valley View University and the 4th for the Techiman Campus. The graduation was streamed live on social media and on Hope TV to enable those who couldn’t make it physically to be a part of the graduation wherever they are.
Almost 20 delegates from the main campus were sent to this graduation showing that VVU is a family, regardless of where the campus is located.
The sub chiefs were present in their traditional regalia, underneath the royal umbrella held by a visible hand, giving the graduation a touch of monarchy.
There are very few things that require very careful consideration before deciding on. And one of those will be the institution you decide to call your Alma Mata. The impact of that institution, the certificate issued there will go and live with you for the rest of your life, so it’s imperative you choose not just wisely but circumspectly.
The use of clichés is fast becoming the norm. Not often will you come across words that is not used as a cliché and its value isn’t stripped off. One of those words is ‘Excellence’.
No, that's not a typo. Silicon Valley isn't just where you think it is. There's one in VVU.
An original, authentic and raw silicon Valley has been bred in VVU and is still breeding. Raw because here, talents are discovered in its very essence just as given by God, tamed, trained and launched.
As we travelled to the VVU Techiman campus, the fun gave joy to our hearts, the beauty of Ghana we were exposed to made us know there was more to the country than the Metropolitan city we all knew. Seeing the cocoa trees, the town where the Kente is made, the travelers mess where all kinds of delicious stuff was available for purchase gave us more insight into the trade and commerce of Ghana, which you should know that Ghana is one of the top producers of cocoa in the world which is used to make the chocolate and coffee we all see and enjoy globally.
An alumna of the School of Nursing and Midwifery of VVU, Miss Juliet Achampong has demonstrated extreme courage in the face of an emergency as she single-handedly helped deliver a woman of twins in a taxi.
