Valley View University Launches Virtual Business Plan Competition Bootcamp

Valley View University is proud to announce the launch of its Virtual Business Plan Competition Bootcamp, beginning Friday, March 14, 2025, and running every Friday until May 9, 2025. This transformative 8-week program, jointly organized by the Centre for Academic Research and Engaged Scholarship, the Career Services Department, and the School of Business is designed to equip undergraduate students with the entrepreneurial skills required to thrive in today’s competitive marketplace.

 

The Bootcamp will nurture innovation, strengthen business models, and provide students with mentorship from seasoned academics and industry professionals. Following the training phase, participants will work in teams under the guidance of expert coaches to refine their business ideas in preparation for the main competition in October 2025. The top business plans will not only receive awards but also secure seed funding from forward-thinking investors and sponsors.

 

We are honored to feature Professor Sanda MAIDUC, Head of Research at the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA, Bucharest, as our Keynote Speaker. With decades of experience in Europe and America, Professor Sanda MAIDUC brings unmatched expertise in guiding start-ups from concept to successful execution - From Idea to Impact: Turning Vision into a thriving business. She will be joined by renowned Speakers like Mr. Albert Tagoe (Startup Success Blueprint: Building, Scaling, and Thriving) and Mr. Franklin Karikari (Innovation, Networking, and Start-up Growth), who will share practical insights from their industries.

 

The Booth Camp competition theme - “Development of Entrepreneurial Skills through Networking Relationship in the 21st Century.” The Bootcamp integrates keynote addresses, high-level seminars, and topical panel discussions on current trends in entrepreneurship—including finance, legal, HR, IT, and technical support. Students, Facilitators and Organizers will also participate in an Academic Field Trip to deepen their learning through real-world exposure.
