Techiman Campus Builds Water Factory

Techiman Campus,  in its’ quest to serve the community better, has cut sod for the construction of an ultra-modern water factory. The said factory will produce both sachet and bottled water.

The colourful but short ceremony took place on the 15th of June, 2020 at the factory site, and was led by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Daniel Kwame Bediako, and assisted by the Rector, Prof. Peter Agyekum Boateng and other officers of the Campus.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Bediako, expressed his enthusiasm about the project and promised to ensure its completion within the shortest possible time. He also expressed his appreciation to ADRA-Sweden for their generosity in funding the project, initiated by its Country Director, Siri Gro Bjerkan Karlsson. Mrs. Karlsson and the contractor of the project (Mr. Isaac Ayiah - AFAMCO Construction Ltd.) were part of the team of engineers who built the campus (the then Adventist Vocational Institute - AVI) in 1974.

Besides serving the community, this project is expected to offer the skills and financial support to needy students at the campus.
