Academic Areas of interest:  

Analytical and empirical research in forensic accounting, internal controls, combating of fraud and corruption, accounting information systems and modeling of business processes, revenue and expenditure management, accountability and value for money, corporate and business ethics, corporate financial reporting, and audit related issues.  

 

 Biography

Evans O. N. D. Ocansey is a shrewd Accounting and Auditing scholar with expertise in assisting firms to design and implement effective internal control systems, install and use high performing accounting software and modeling of business processes. He teaches several accounting courses at all modes in Valley View University. He also researches into various areas of Accounting and Auditing.

Ocansey was born in Tema in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana and he attended his primary and secondary education at Ebenezer Hills and Goshen Secondary School respectively. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Valley View University and Master of Science in Accounting with a research in Forensic Accounting from Babcock University. He is currently pursuing his Doctor of Philosophy in Commerce—Accounting and Finance at Adventist University of Philippines.

Mr. Ocansey is also a motivational speaker. Thus, he enjoys motivating young people to identify their talents and how to chart their careers based on economic and job opportunities. In his leisure time, Mr. Ocansey enjoys identifying challenges in society and how to solve them; and discussing new ideals and how to execute them.
