For this the Department of Development Studies seeks to provide students the necessary intellectual accent, practical skills and the technical know-how required to undertake developmental programmes.
On the completion of the programme the student is expected to come out as a development manager or professional who is academically astute, socially affable, physically robust and spiritually compassionate. Such a one, moved by the love of God, will seek to aid individuals and communities to alleviate their plight.
